East Thailand

Eastern Thailand Seaboard

Eastern Thailand is more or less an 150 km extension from Bangkok to the south currently (2018) very popular with Chinese and Russian tourists who fly in at a rate of about 150 large aircraft per day to make holiday and vacation at Pattaya's Jomtien Beach and the island beaches in front.

Eastern Thailand also includes the biggest industrial estates in the country and Utapao Airport which is currently resurrected after a long sleep since the Vietnam war. They also are telling to have the Railway crossing between Thailand and Cambodia ready by the end of this year but they say a lot and do little. Actually since the military took over the government this "maybe tomorrow" mentality changed a bit. The men in uniform get quite a lot of things done its substantially different to the politicians of before.
